Former world 100m champion Kim Collins will compete in the 60m and 200m at the Aviva International Match at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall on 31 January.

It will be the 32-year-old's first appearance in Scotland.

The St Kitts & Nevis sprinter is preparing for the World Championships in Germany in August.

"Winning silver at the World Indoor Championships in March was very satisfactory and I will look to go one better in Berlin," he said.

"Glasgow is a renowned quick track, so I am aiming for a fast time there."

Collins, who came sixth in the 200m Olympic final in Beijing, will be part of a Commonwealth Select up against Great Britain and Northern Ireland, USA, Germany and Sweden.

Athletes at the Aviva International compete to win points for their country.

Britain won the final event last year to take the match by one point.

Collins will also be competing in the 60m at the Aviva Grand Prix at the NIA in Birmingham in February.
