F1's American dream not dead



Ron Dennis has expressed his support for North America to back within the F1 calendar "within the next three years".

North America will not be hosting a Formula 1 grand prix event since 1958 after the FIA's dropped Canada from next season's schedule.

The US GP was cut in 2008.

Officials from both Montreal and Indianapolis have made various attempts to get their respective grands prix reinstated, but without any success.

The McLaren boss is adament F1 has not given up on going back to the continent and has revealed that talks are still on-going to find the right model.
